Email Activation Guide

These instructions are for activating Atomic Microscope using email. "Email activation" is the recommended method for (1) people who are running into trouble using the automatic Internet activation method (which is the default); and for (2) people who are trying to activate software on a computer that is not connected to the Internet.

After you install the software, you will need a valid Serial Number. Your email activate will automatically be handled very quickly.

1) Launch the Activation Wizard by double-clicking on the Activation Wizard.exe icon found in the folder where you installed the software (typically C:\Program Files\Atomic Microscope\)

2) Use the Settings menu and select 'Activate using Email'

3) Enter your Serial Number in the space provided. Note that the Activate button will not become enabled until you have entered a valid Serial Number. If the button remains disabled, please check your spelling. We recommend you use copy and paste.

4) Click the Activate button. Read the instructions in the dialog box that appears.

5) Click the 'Copy to Clipboard' button to copy the contents of the dialog box to your clipboard. Then use your regular email software to:

• Open a new message
• Paste the contents of your clipboard into the email message body
• Address the email to activate@starkdesign.com
• Send it. You will receive a response at the 'From address' specified in your email software

6) You will receive an Activation Code in response to your email. Copy and paste this 16-digit code into the space provided. Click the Finish button to complete activation.

7) Activation is now complete. Click the OK button to launch the software.
