Activation Guide

The easiest way to activate your software is to activate automatically via the Internet. After you install the software, you will need a valid Serial Number.

Please Note: These instructions are for activating the software on a computer that is connected to the Internet. If you are activating software on a computer that is not connected to the Internet, or if you are experienceing problems with automatic activation, please read the Email Activation Guide.

1) Launch the Activation Wizard by double-clicking on the Activation Wizard.exe icon found in the folder where you installed the software (typically C:\Program Files\Atomic Microscope\)

2) If you are behind a firewall and use a proxy to access the Internet, use the Settings menu and select 'Proxy Settings...' If you don't know whether or not you use a proxy, skip this step.

3) Enter your Serial Number in the space provided. Note that the Activate button will not become enabled until you have entered a valid Serial Number. If the button remains disabled, please check your spelling--we recommend you use copy and paste.

4) Click the Activate button. Activation will proceed automatically.

5) Activation is now complete, click the OK button to launch the software.
